12:00 pm – Kuusalu St. Lawrence Church
5:00 pm – Juuru St. Michael’s Church
Performed by the Arsis Handbell Ensemble and organist Kristel Aer.
The concerts in Kuusalu and Juuru, entitled “Stories Through the Ages,” are dedicated to grandparents.
For many of us, our warmest childhood memories are closely connected with the time spent with our grandparents. The stories told by our grandmothers and grandfathers, together with the wisdom they shared, are passed down from generation to generation, carrying with them our roots, values, and cultural heritage.
The programme features music by great masters of the classical repertoire, including Bach, Elgar, Debussy, and others, whose timeless works have inspired audiences for centuries. It also includes music by Estonian composers Arvo Pärt, Tõnu Kõrvits, and Heino Eller, reflecting the uniquely Estonian spirit, our cultural heritage, and the stories passed down from one generation to the next.
